Kendra Sandal
Co-Founder, Licenced Cosmetologist, Certified Cranial Prosthetic Specialist
Kendra has lived with alopecia areata since age 12. After years of hiding her hair loss, she now shares her journey to inspire and empower others.
As a licensed cosmetologist and certified Cranial Prosthetic Specialist, Kendra understands how deepy hair and scalp health can affect confidence and overall well-being. That understanding inspired her to create Hair Happens or Not, a space where hair hair goes beyond appearance
Kendra lives in Sioux Falls, SD, with her son Lincoln, daughter Marlee, and partner, Jayd.

Co-founder
Heidi co-founded Hair Happens or Not alongside her daughter, Kendra, inspired by her journey through alopecia.
She is passionate about making medical-grade wigs affordable and accessible while helping families navigate the financial burden and emotional challenges of hair loss.
Heidi and her husband, Scott, have been married for nearly 30 years. Together, they have a close-knit family with four children, their significant others and two grandchildren. Heidi and Scott live in Lennox, South Dakota.
